🎧 ByteDance releases "Seed Audio 1.0"

ByteDance (the company behind TikTok) opened early access to “Seed Audio 1.0,” a new AI audio model that generates natural speech, music, and sound effects in a single pass.
Instead of stitching a voiceover, a music bed, and foley together separately, you describe the scene and it produces the whole thing at once. It's a "non-streaming" model, which just means it renders the full clip in one go (great for polished, finished audio rather than live playback).
Note: Seed Audio 1.0 is currently open for enterprise access applications only, available to international creators and teams through BytePlus.
Already live on a handful of third-party platforms if you'd rather skip the waitlist: Higgsfield (and on Claude via the Higgsfield MCP), Runway for all paid plans, Runware, WaveSpeedAI, and fal.
What you can do with it:
Generate natural-sounding speech with preset voices.
Guide the output with a reference audio clip (to match a voice or style) or even an image.
Fine-tune the details, speed, volume, pitch, and output format.

📱 X releases "MCP Server"

X launched a hosted “MCP server” that lets AI tools like Grok, Cursor, and Claude plug into real-time X data with zero setup.
Before this, you'd have to build and host your own connection and handle all the authentication yourself, now X runs it for you.
What's an MCP? MCP lets AI assistants like Claude or Cursor connect to and control other apps. Think of it like giving your AI a direct line into a piece of software, so instead of just chatting about X, it can actually search posts and pull live info for you.
Note: Access is read-only. Agents can search posts, fetch timelines, and read bookmarks using your own account's permissions, but they can't post, reply, or act on your behalf.
