🖊 Paper releases "AI SVG Generation"

Paper just opened its canvas to “AI-powered vector generation,” letting you explore logo ideas and illustrations directly in editable SVG format (powered by Quiver AI).

Paper is a code-native design tool (a Figma alternative built for creative experimentation, with shaders, gradients, and AI built in).

What's an SVG? SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a file format for graphics built from math instead of pixels. That means they stay sharp at any size, from a tiny favicon to a giant billboard, and every line, shape, and color stays editable.

This update brings vector design natively into the canvas, so the SVGs you generate are clean, structured, and ready to edit, animate, or export.

The model is also strong at using reference images, so you can guide the output with existing logos, sketches, or visual styles you want to match.

APPS

Stop switching apps. Your browser can do it all.

Every tab you open, every copy-paste into ChatGPT, every lost train of thought — that's your browser failing you. Norton Neo fixes it. Built-in AI works directly inside your session. Hover to preview. Search everything from one bar. VPN and ad blocking included, free.

🖼️ Krea launches "Krea 2"

Krea just released “Krea 2,” its first foundation model built completely from scratch and focused on aesthetic diversity, style transfer, and creative control.

Note: Krea 2 is rolling out to Max and Business plan users first, with more access codes opening up throughout the week.

What makes it different:

  • Style transfer. Pull the look of any image and apply it to your generations, up to 4 style references at once.

  • Moodboards. Build a board of reference images, and Krea pulls ideas and concepts from across the whole set, not just style.

  • 15-second generations. Outputs land in 15 seconds or less, so you stay in the creative flow.

  • Built for exploration. Vague prompts produce a wider range of ideas instead of the same concept on repeat.

🎨 Mobbin releases “Mobbin MCP”

Mobbin just launched “Mobbin MCP,” giving AI agents like Claude and Cursor access to its full library of 600,000+ real product screens, paywalls, onboarding flows, checkouts, permission prompts, and more, from apps that have already shipped.

Note: Mobbin MCP is available on Pro and Team plans.

The idea: AI agents can write code, but they don't actually know what good UI looks like. With Mobbin connected, your agent can reference proven design patterns from real apps instead of guessing.

You can prompt your agent with things like "find pull-to-refresh animations from social apps" or "show me the best 404 pages with personality" and it'll pull real screens back to design from.

What's an MCP tool? MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets AI assistants like Claude or Cursor connect to and control other apps. Think of it like giving your AI a direct line into a piece of software, so instead of just chatting, it can actually do things inside the app.

📰 Other news you might've missed

  • Claude Code introduced /goal, a new slash command that keeps Claude working on a task until the full goal is done.

  • Figma Make introduced Custom Skills, letting you save and call repeated workflows with slash commands like /insert-sample-data or /build-from-prd.

  • Figma Weave dropped a new batch of Delights, including Duplicate with Connections, Handpick Nodes, and CSV to Iterator.

  • Base44 rolled out app agents that give every Base44 app a direct line to its users, answering questions, taking actions, and connecting to outside tools right inside the app.

  • HeyGen launched its Android app, so you can create and publish AI videos directly from your phone.

  • Shaders shipped v2.5.123 with a new ReflectivePlane component for adding polished floors below your logos.

  • v0 added fast mode for Claude Opus 4.7.

  • Anthropic released Claude Opus 4.7 fast mode in research preview on the API and Claude Code.

  • OpenArt rolled out Projects and Folders, so you can finally organize generations by client, campaign, or vibe.

  • Cursor added fast mode for Claude Opus 4.7 (2.5x the speed at 6x the cost).

  • HyperFrames launched Inspector, a new panel that lets you tweak fonts, colors, easing, and positioning without round-tripping through the model.

  • Manus introduced Preferred Browser, letting you set a custom Chrome browser as the default environment for Browser Operator tasks.

  • v0 added permission modes, letting you control whether v0 asks before running each command.

  • Shipper added AI image generation directly to its Visual Editor, with auto open graph and SEO fill.
