APPS
🎮 Meta launches "Pocket," a vibe-coding app for games

Meta quietly launched “Pocket,” a new app that lets you generate, play, and share tiny interactive games just by typing what you want.

It came out of Meta's acquisition earlier this year of Atma Sciences, the team behind the original vibe-coded gaming app Gizmo.

Note: Pocket is currently available only in Brazil on the App Store and Google Play, and Meta hasn't made an official announcement yet.

The original Gizmo app pulled in 635,000 lifetime installs and a 98% positive rating before Meta bought the team, so Pocket is Meta's early bet on making AI creation feel mainstream, social, and genuinely fun to play with.

🤖 Wonder releases "SVG generation"

Wonder announced that you can now generate “SVGs” right inside its canvas. The feature comes from a fresh integration with QuiverAI, whose SVG generation model now lives inside the app.

Wonder is the AI-native design tool that puts a design agent on an infinite canvas, and it's an independent startup, currently in public alpha.

What are SVGs? They're scalable vector graphics, images built from math instead of pixels, so they stay crisp at any size and export as clean, editable code. That makes them ideal for logos, icons, and lettering.

So what can you make with it? Think logos, typography, icons, lettering, and illustrations.

You can even vectorize any image in seconds, and because everything you build in Wonder comes out as real code, the same design can ship straight to production.

Note: Wonder is free to try with credits included, and paid plans start at $20 a month.

SOCIAL MEDIA
🎬 X releases a "Video Editor and Recorder"

X (formerly known as Twitter) rolled out a brand new “video editor and recorder” inside its iOS app, and it's aimed squarely at creators.

Nikita Bier, X's head of product, announced the update along with a couple of long-awaited features.

Here's what landed:

  • Overlay captions in multiple languages, with control over how they look.

  • Green Screen, so you can drop in custom backgrounds using posts or photos from your camera roll.

Videos already make up close to half of all impressions on the platform, but many of the biggest posts are recycled clips lifted from other users, sometimes years after they first went viral.

Bier said his team believes that stolen, recycled content hurts both the user experience and the business.

So the pitch is simple. By giving creators a “real editor,” X wants some of its videos to finally be original content that doesn't exist anywhere else.

X also announced “Live Studio,” a new livestreaming command center for pro streamers. It gives creators tools to go live, connect with followers, and manage their streams, and it lives inside Creator Studio on X.
