VIDEO EDITING
🎬 Google releases "Gemini Omni"

Prompt: edit this keeping everything the same. add animated motion effects coming out of the skateboard

Google released “Gemini Omni,” a new multimodal model that can create and edit video from any combination of text, image, audio, and video inputs.

The first version, “Omni Flash,” is rolling out today to the Gemini app, Google Flow, and Google Flow Music, with YouTube Shorts and YouTube Create following later this week.

Note: Omni Flash is live today for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers globally inside the Gemini app, Google Flow, and Google Flow Music.

It rolls out free this week to YouTube Shorts and YouTube Create. Developer + enterprise API access is coming in the next few weeks. Flash clips are currently capped at 10 seconds.

Prompt: When the person touches the mirror, make the mirror ripple beautifully like liquid, and the person's arm turns into reflective mirror material.

The big idea is conversational editing. Every instruction builds on the last (e.g., change a character, swap a background, dim the lights, adjust the physics) and the scene stays consistent across turns.

Google calls it "Nano Banana, but for video," grounded in Gemini's real-world knowledge and built to blend real and generated footage in one timeline.

  • Combine text, images, audio, and video in a single prompt

  • Edit characters, scenes, and motion through natural conversation.

  • Keep identity, physics, and prior edits stable as you iterate.

Prompt: Dynamic sci-fi film style video based on image_0.png. Elements light up similar to video_0.mp4 synchronized to the beat of the music from audio_0.wav
