⚡ Rive releases “Scripting”

This week, Rive released "Scripting," a major update that lets you iterate on code, design, and animation in one place, bringing back the creative freedom that Flash gave designers and developers, but rebuilt for modern platforms without needing a plugin.
With Scripting, you can now build entire experiences like games, interactive UI, and full apps, then ship them anywhere: web, iOS, Android, Unity, Unreal, and more.

Created with Rive Scripting
Here's what you can build:
Particle effects: Create confetti, trails, bursts, and other dynamic effects without manually animating every frame.
Physics: Add gravity, bouncing, and natural-feeling motion to your designs.
Live data connections: Design interfaces that automatically update with real information (like user profiles or product listings) directly in the editor.
Dynamic components: Build elements that respond and change based on user interaction or data.
Rive also introduced an "AI Coding Agent" alongside Scripting to help non-coders get started.
You can ask it questions, generate code through chat, and review changes (all without leaving the editor).
The AI Coding Agent is included on all paid plans via monthly AI credits: Cadet ($5/seat), Voyager ($16/seat), and Enterprise ($40/seat).
Here are some examples of what you can create with Rive Scripting 👇
