🎨 Anthropic releases "Claude Design"

Anthropic just launched Claude Design, a new tool that turns natural conversation into prototypes, slides, and one-pagers. It's powered by Claude Opus 4.7, Anthropic's most capable vision model yet.

Describe what you want, and Claude builds the first version. From there, you can refine through conversation, inline comments, direct edits, or custom sliders.

Note: Claude Design is in research preview on the Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.

When the design feels right, you can export it to Canva, download it as a PDF or PPTX, or hand it off to Claude Code to take it into production.

Canva launches "AI 2.0"

Canva just unveiled AI 2.0 at Canva Create 2026, a top-to-bottom rebuild that turns Canva into a conversational, agentic platform.

The company is calling it the biggest shift since its 2013 launch.

Canva AI 2.0 is rolling out now to the platform's 265+ million monthly users.

Instead of starting with a template or a blank page, you can now start with an idea, a brief, or a rough sketch and work through it in conversation with Canva AI.

It's built around four capabilities, including Conversational Design (generate fully editable designs from natural language) and Agentic Orchestration (Canva coordinates its own tools to hit multistep goals).

Also announced at Canva Create 2026:

  • Canva Offline mode.

  • Print Shop, a reimagined ecommerce experience with 40 new products.

  • Learn Grid, an education platform with thousands of curriculum-mapped resources.

  • Cavalry (Canva's motion design tool) is now free for all creatives.

  • Deeper Affinity integration with Capture One, DaVinci Resolve, and Claude.

What you can do with it:

  • Extend a lo-fi piano intro into a massive dubstep drop.
