🎬 Premiere Pro releases “AI Object Mask”

This week, Adobe released major updates to Premiere Pro, introducing AI-powered masking tools that make isolating and tracking subjects faster than ever.
The headline feature is "Object Mask," which lets editors create precise masks of complex moving subjects with a simple hover and click.

With Object Mask, you can now:
Mask any moving subject: Hover over a person or object and click to generate a tracked mask instantly.
Preview with visual overlays: Choose from six colored overlays or a black-and-white alpha view to see your mask in real time.
Refine with precision: Add or subtract areas using lasso and rectangular tools, then adjust feathering and expansion for a perfect fit.
Adobe also redesigned its classic "Shape Masks" (Ellipse, Rectangle, and Pen), with tracking that's now up to 20× faster and new features like bi-directional tracking and 3D perspective tracking for anchoring masks to surfaces like screens or rotating faces.
