TOOL OF THE DAY

Your AI Marketing Teammate

Marketers are using AI for everything from research to reporting. The challenge is getting reliable data into those workflows.

Agent A by Ahrefs combines AI with Ahrefs' marketing intelligence to help you move faster. Ask it to analyze competitors, find keyword opportunities, identify content gaps, investigate ranking drops, audit technical issues, track your brand's visibility in AI search, or build content plans and reports.

Agent A comes with pre-built marketing skills, so you don't need to master prompt engineering to get useful results. It can also connect with tools like Slack, Notion, HubSpot, WordPress, and more, helping teams turn insights into action without constantly switching between platforms.

🤖 Adobe releases “AI Assistant” in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator

Adobe released a major expansion of its “creative agent,” rolling it out as an AI Assistant across Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Frame.io.

You describe the outcome you want, and the assistant handles the multi-step busywork while you keep creative control.

Adobe is also putting its pro-grade tools inside the platforms you already use, including OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, with Google Gemini and Slack on the way.

Here's what the assistant does inside each app:

  • Premiere Pro: Handles the tedious setup, sorting assets into bins, batch renaming clips, adding markers, and assembling a starting cut.

  • Photoshop: Swaps backgrounds, resizes assets for every platform, and organizes layers from a simple description.

  • Illustrator: Tackles production jobs like generating 50 versioned files from a spreadsheet or running a pre-flight check before print.

  • InDesign: Applies brand updates across a layout, including copy, styling, and print-readiness checks.

  • Frame.io: Organizes shoot assets, surfaces feedback across revisions, and generates B-roll.

Note: AI Assistant is in public beta across Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Frame.io, and in private beta in After Effects.

🧩 Figma releases “Chrome Extension”

Figma released a “Chrome extension” that captures any live webpage and pastes it into Figma as fully editable layers.

Text stays text, boxes stay boxes, so you can riff on real production sites instead of tracing flat screenshots.

You can grab a whole page or a single element, then paste it straight onto the canvas in Figma Design or FigJam to redesign, remix, or jump-start a prototype.

Note: The capture tools are in beta and currently available on paid Figma plans. Captures come in as plain layers (no design-system mapping yet), and heavy JavaScript or canvas-rendered sites may not translate cleanly.

🌈 Wonder releases 700+ “Shader Presets”

Wonder released 700+ “shader presets” for its canvas, built in partnership with the Shaders component library.

You can attach any SVG or image and wrap it in unique, real-time effects without touching code.

Drop in a logo and a shader can make it look like light bending through translucent glass, or feed in a photo and turn it into a reactive ASCII-style grid.

Every parameter is adjustable live, including scale, refraction, color, thickness, chromatic aberration, and swirl speed, so you can dial in the exact look you want.
