🪄 Adobe Firefly releases "AI Assistant" skills

Adobe Firefly released a batch of “new creative skills” for its AI Assistant, built specifically for social creators and solopreneurs.

You can now describe a vision and have the assistant handle whole workflows, from branding to finished video.

The new skills cover four big creator jobs:

  • Brand kit creation: Describe your style, name, and colors, and Firefly generates a complete logo, brand identity, and palette ready to use everywhere.

  • Short product video: Turn product photos into polished short-form video with lighting, motion, audio, and brand styling.

  • Storyboards: Visualize and sequence your ideas before production, then generate video directly from the storyboard.

  • Quick Cut: Automatically assemble raw footage into a structured first cut you can refine.

Upgraded Firefly Studio (coming soon)

Firefly also got more personal, you can now find assets using natural language, set workflow preferences, and invite collaborators in.

Adobe is previewing an upgraded creative AI studio too, with Elements for saving and reusing characters and locations, and Projects for keeping everything in one place.

Note: The upgraded Firefly studio (including Elements and Projects) is in private beta through a waitlist here.

TOOL OF THE DAY

Your AI Marketing Teammate

Marketers are using AI for everything from research to reporting. The challenge is getting reliable data into those workflows.

Agent A by Ahrefs combines AI with Ahrefs' marketing intelligence to help you move faster. Ask it to analyze competitors, find keyword opportunities, identify content gaps, investigate ranking drops, audit technical issues, track your brand's visibility in AI search, or build content plans and reports.

Agent A comes with pre-built marketing skills, so you don't need to master prompt engineering to get useful results. It can also connect with tools like Slack, Notion, HubSpot, WordPress, and more, helping teams turn insights into action without constantly switching between platforms.

If you want an AI assistant that does more than generate text, see what Agent A can do for your marketing workflow at ahrefs.com/agent-a.

🛠️ Framer released "Framer 3.0"

Framer released its biggest update yet at its June event, headlined by “Agents” that design and manage your entire website right on the canvas.

They can generate layouts, write CMS content, build components, and fix issues while you stay in control.

Framer 3.0 packs in several more launches:

  • Branching: Spin up a branch to redesign sections and test bold changes without touching your live site, then merge what works back in.

  • Community: A new home for designers inside Framer, with a feed to follow creators, a marketplace, and contests.

  • External Agents: Drive your site from anywhere, update copy from Slack, trigger CMS changes from the terminal, or ship from a GitHub PR using Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and more.

Framer also released simpler plans with AI Credits and lower prices.

APPS
🔗 LinkedIn released "Connected Apps"

LinkedIn released a new way to prove your skills, you can now connect the apps you use every day directly to your profile.

Each connected app generates a simple statement based on your real activity, describing how you actually use it.

The descriptions update in real time as your skills evolve (without LinkedIn accessing your broader app usage), and top users get a "Top User" badge on their profile.

The feature builds on early collaborations with Descript, Duolingo, Lovable, Relay.app, and Replit, and is now expanding to more apps. Over a million members have already connected one.
